What the waiter does
Order from the floor
Waiters take orders in the Employee app, wherever they are, and send them to the kitchen from there.
Told when a table is theirs
A notification tells the waiter when a table has been assigned to them.
A ticket of their own
The waiter gets their own ticket, printed separately from the one the kitchen sees.
Questions
Is this the same as customers ordering by QR code?
No. Customers can also order at the table from their own phone with a QR self-order page. That is a separate feature from the waiter's tools.
Can I control what each waiter can do?
Waiter is a system role, and its permissions are set per branch.
